Now this project has gone on for a couple of days and has received many hours of research. I'm going to take a break from it for a while. Credits to the original Oblivion map author, the CMT team/Mastersl337, and (DA)Ender for the models + other features + the Halo 2 firing and detonation effects that helped me get started. I've added the magnetic sparks to the barrel, a contrail, and Halo 3 firing effects as well as Halo 3 detonation effects. What needs to be updated to bring this closer to the Halo 3 Gauss hog effects-wise? 1.) Glowing decal 2.) More flame/fire-ish detonation (after the blue-ish light detonation). I'll probably decrease the radius for it and add more to the "k" constant. I may actually need to decrease the number of flame particles if that's the reason it looks like a small star than a fireball 3.) Timing might need to be adjusted on some of the elements like the contrail, firing, and detonation effects 4.) Perhaps I might want to add more "sparks". Not the typical metal filings kind of sparks, but the hot metal chunks. Are sparks necessary for any part of the gauss detonation?
